Heraclitus' Gospel

Go down, down to the river,
And pray that you will be forgiven.
They say that this water can wash you clean.
But, do they say what they really mean?

And it’s been forever,
And you’re thinking He’ll leave you.
But He says He’ll never.
And can’t you see?
That the water’s already moved on.
